The Padua Franciscan HS figure skating team took first place at the Ohio High School Figure Skating Championship on February 17th, 2008. Forestwood members include Shirin Azadi, 2nd place beginner freeskate and 2nd place pre-preliminary showcase; Morgan Kapelewski, 2nd place, open juvenile short program; Allison Margevicius, 1st place novice showcase; and Jessie Steele, forced to withdraw from her preliminary events due to her recent shoulder surgery. Congrats also to other team members Michelle Meszaros, Alexis Hipkins, Emily Hanna, Jordan Pordash, and Alexandria Miranda.
