Show your spirit by joining your fellow skaters and walking in the Parma Jaycees Parade. This is a perfect chance to let the Parma residents see what we have to offer and to give our young ladies the opportunity to wear their prettiest skating outfits (tights not necessary if the weather is hot). Brook Park Community Days Parade - July 13th:
We have made the commitment to walk in the Brook Park Community Days Parade on Sunday July 13th at 12:00. We will need walkers to pass out candy and flyers and possibly someone to dress in a "Snowplow Sam" costume. Please contact Heather Adkins with your interest, so we have an idea of how many to expect. This is a great way to tell the residents of Brook Park about the Forestwood Figure Skating Club!
Car Wash Fundraiser - July 19th:
We have scheduled our 1st fundraiser for the new season! It will be a car wash on Saturday, July 19th from 10am - 1pm at the Walgreens on Pleasant Valley & Broadview. We will need to provide our own supplies and we are thinking of setting up a kool-aid stand. Please contact Heather Adkins with questions or to let her know you are interested in participating. This event will certainly bring out the "fun" in fundraising!
