FFSC Ice Sessions
Skills Class/Learn to Skate
A fun and exciting group class for beginners through basic badge 8. This class is designed to teach the basics of skating whether your child figure skates, plays hockey, or just wants to be able to skate for recreation. Our program is taught by FFSC professional coaches along with our head coach Marianne Parker who has over 25 years of coaching experience. This class will perform a group number in our Ice Show(s).  Paricipants in the Skills Class are eligible to compete at Euclid and Kent Basic Skills Competitions. This class is offered five times through out the season. Each class has 6 weekly sessions.

Power Skating

A group class for skaters from basic 5 and up. This class will emphasize stroking, jumping, and spinning techniques. This class will help a student become a stronger skater, not only by refining their skills, but also increasing their power and stamina through various drills.


General Sessions

A combination of Freestyle, Moves-in-the-Field, and Dance on Forestwood FSC ice. Our Club Room will be open and music equipment will be available.You may arrange for private lessons with the coach of your choice.


New Skaters Welcome
